philosophy. Speakers include: Sergei Sikorsky; John Nance, author of The
Gentle Tasaday for which Lindbergh wrote the foreword; and Astronauts

The Lindbergh Foundation and family, together with Florida Gulf Coast University, The Florida Humanities Council, the Uncommon Friends Foundation, Southwest Florida Community Foundation, and Northern Trust Literary Society are pleased to present this special symposium in honor of the 75th Anniversary of Charles Lindbergh's historic New York-to-Paris flight. The invited speakers for this conference include: as keynote speaker: Judy Schiff, co-editor of Autobiography of Values and Chief Archivist at Yale in charge of the Lindbergh Collection; Ev Cassagneres, Ryan Aircraft Historian; Catherine Bixby Barrett, daughter of Harold Bixby, one of the most important financial backers of the Spirit of St. Louis; Kathleen Winters, glider pilot and writer on Anne Morrow Lindbergh's contributions to aviation; and as capstone speaker: Dr. Sylvia Earle, Explorer in Residence, National Geographic Society and former President of the Lindbergh Foundation. Reeve Lindbergh will contribute the closing remarks.
